I am an Associate Professor of Environmental Toxicology at Texas Tech University (that’s me in the middle with the red bandana).  I guess I would classify myself as a quantitative ecologist who has broad interests in the effects of natural and anthropogenic stressors on natural systems (these photos are from field work in the Luquillo Experimental Forest of Puerto Rico).  Due to the highly interdisciplinary nature of the work being conducted in our department, I also have had the opportunity to work on a variety of human health related projects.
