Brett Blackwell 

Brett is a 2008 graduate of Lubbock Christian University.  As an undergraduate, Brett was awarded a prestigious ARCS Fellowship.  Brett is now pursuing a Masters of Science degree.  His research will examine the potential for aerial deposition of androgenic compounds onto lands and communities surrounding feedlots.

Kimberly Wooten 

Kim is a graduate of Michigan State University.  Her MS research will focus on assessing exposures to persistent organic pollutants and insecticides among pets.

 

  

 

Dr. Smith is seeking highly qualified and motivated graduate and undergraduate research assistants for integrated field and laboratory ecotoxicology projects.  Prospective students should have a strong educational background, experience, and interest in ecology, ecophysiology, biochemistry, toxicology, and or wildlife.  Candidates should have the capacity for conducting field work under less than ideal conditions, but also be comfortable working in a laboratory setting.  Those proficient at culturing aquatic organisms are strongly encouraged to inquire.  Contact information can be found here.
